Doing Valentine's Doggie Style

It wouldn't be Valentine's Day for me if I didn't come up with a anti-lovey dovey card. My husband and I aren't the teddy bear romantic Halmark card type of couple so I have to think up of a card that is "us". This year I came up with my doggie style card...it's a little romantic if you are a dog person. Click here to download a pdf of this card. Free Downloadable Valentine

As promised, here is another free downloadable Valentine that uses buttons. Maybe I will put a little dent into my large button stash. If you want to put your Valentine into an envelope I designed it to fit in a standard A7. What you will need: Color printer and cover stock paper Glue Buttons Xacto knife and ruler Click here to download the template as a PDF. Print the tags on card stock paper. Cut along the dotted lines to cut out the Valentine. Take your buttons and arrange them using the heart outline at the bottom of the card. After you have arranged the buttons in a heart shape glue them in place.

Button Tag Valentine

As you may know, I have a large button collection. I have a particular weakness for button jars and have over a half a dozen of them. I am always trying to come up with crafts that use buttons. So I decided that this Valentine's day I would come up with a series of downloadable Valentine's using buttons. Here is the first one, a Valentine tag with button bobby pins. What you will need: Color printer and cover stock paper Bobby pins with a glue pad (I recently saw them at the local craft store but if you can't find them there, you can find them all over Etsy) E6000 Glue Buttons Xacto knife & ruler Hole punch Ribbon Click here to download the template as a PDF. Print the tags on card stock paper. Cut along the dotted lines and use a hole punch to make the circle in the top center of the tag. Take a dab of E6000 and put it on the glue pad. Glue the pad to the back of a button. Set aside and let it dry for 24 hours. When setting aside the bobby pin...

The Perfect Card for a Serial Killer

My husband and I aren't what you would call a lovey couple. So our Valentine's day doesn't usually come with candy hearts with sweet sayings or mushy bad poetry Hallmark cards. Usually I try to make him something or buy him a little something handmade. This year I got him a zombie tshirt from Geek Things on Etsy and decided to make him a card that truly expresses how I feel about him...that I love him to pieces. If you feel the same about your sweetie, feel free to download this artwork and give it to your Valentine. Click here to download a pdf of this card . Will you help me with my Valentine?

Last year I posted a series of Valentine's Day cards that could be downloaded and printed to give to your loved ones. This year I would love to do the same thing but I need some help. Last years cards included pirates , zombies , squirrels and Mr. T ....I know, I know, how in the hell can you top Mr. T? Well I have some crafty followers and I think it can be done! So what I need are some good (and kind of stupid funny) Valentine's day card ideas. Please post a comment with your ideas. If the idea makes me laugh I will turn it into a downloadable card and post them the week of Valentine's day. Please keep in mind that I like raunchy however I would like to not be blatantly pornographic, be crafty I love some good innuendo.
