A sheepish Valentine

Need a card for your special someone? Well look no further! Nothing says I love you more than a card with a sheep on it. Shepherd your sweeties love with a homemade card this year.

Click here to download a pdf of this card.

The card should be printed at 100% on letter sized (8.5 x 11) paper. Trim the card using the crop marks and fold in half. The final size is 4.25" x 5.5". The cards will fit in a standard A2 (4-3/8" x 5-3/4"), however if you do not have an envelope handy you can refer to my Recycled Paper Envelope to create one.

Charmed Scarf Tutorial

I admit that this is not my original idea. My mom got a charmed scarf for Christmas this year and I loved it. However, it came from out of state and I wasn't about to go on a road trip just to buy a scarf so I did the next best thing and made my own.

Making a charmed scarf is insanely easy and quick to do.

Supplies:
  • 2 yards of light weight jersey material
  • Scissors
  • Jewelry plyers
  • Charms
  • Jewelry rings—I got mine in the bead section at Michael's Crafts. You can see a picture of what I got below. My rings are about 1.25" wide. You want to pick rings out that have approximately a 1" opening. I used used 7 rings on my scarf but you can use more or less depending on personal taste.

  • Jump rings–size depends on the rings that you get. You will want to get jump rings that loop the jewelry rings
  1. Cut a strip of fabric 18" wide by 2 yards long.
  2. Using your jump rings, attach the charms to the jewelry rings.

  3. Thread your jewelry rings with charms onto your scarf.

Told you it was easy!

Pretty in Pink

One of my favorite customers recently sent me a request for a pink hair clip to wear when she participates in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. I told her it wouldn't be a problem and that I would whip up a few options for her to choose from.

I am so pleased with how they turned out and since it is February and pink is a popular color this month I though I would share. Which one do you think she will choose?
